This program strives to assist those who are homeless or are in danger of becoming homeless. The housing department offers a variety of programs to address different housing situations. Weatherization Assistance Program
This program plays a crucial role in enhancing energy efficiency in homes which leads to reduced energy costs, as well as increases comfort. Resource Center
This program serves as a comprehensive hub designed to connect residents with essential community support. By partnering with over 40 local organizations, the center facilitates a streamlined referral system and offers direct assistance for programs. This collaborative approach ensures that individuals can easily navigate and access the vital housing, food, and health services necessary for achieving long-term self-sustainability. Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP)
Family Services Department - Armstrong County Food Bank
This program provides a variety of services to the community. The Family Services Department oversees initiatives such as the Food Bank, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, and seasonal programming to better the community.
