Our Partnership is committed to eliminating and preventing the causes and effects of poverty by mobilizing and directing resources to assist, educate, and promote self-sufficiency of individuals and families.

Partnerships

ACCAP recognizes the power of working with others. By joining forces with our partners, we reach more people in the community. Contact us today to explore how together we can create change.

Our Services

  • Housing

ACCAP Housing Departments strive to assist those homeless or in danger of becoming homeless.

We offer a variety of programs to address various housing situations, including utility assistance.

  • Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP)

MATP offers transportation to and from medical care and/or services from a Medical Assistance provider. MATP is required to provide the least costly, most appropriate transportation that will meet your needs.

  • Weatherization Assistance

ACCAP performs on-site energy assessments (known as audits) designed to assess home conditions and identify the most cost-effective, energy-saving measures in order to lower utility costs.

  • Family Services

The Family Services Department operates the Armstrong County Community Action Food Bank (including the senior box program and produce distributions), Thanksgiving Turkey Distribution Program, Adopt-A-Family Holiday Project, and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for Armstrong County.
