Armstrong County Community Action Food Bank
For more than 20 years, our agency has been providing food for Armstrong County residents in need. Programming operated under the Food Bank include:
Monthly Pantry Distributions
Senior Box Distributions
Drive-up Distributions
Our Food Bank distribution network comprises 16 county-wide pantries, all managed by devoted and compassionate community volunteers. These dedicated individuals operate the pantries to ensure widespread access to essential resources within our community.
Holiday Programs
ACCAP leads the effort in Holiday focused programming including:
Thanksgiving Turkey Distribution
Adopt-A-Family Holiday Project
Operation Warm’s Coat Drive
These programs are funded through sponsorships, private donations, and grant funding and are open to all Armstrong County residents.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is the flagship program of The Dollywood Foundation. It reaches more children than any other childhood book gifting program and mails free, high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth until age five, no matter their family’s income.
This program is 100% funded through a grant from the Armstrong County Community Foundation, a grant from the Justamere Foundation, sponsorships, and private donations.
