What Does the Armstrong County Community Action Food Bank Do?
For over 20 years, our agency has been providing food for low income, working poor and the homeless persons residing in Armstrong County.

Because of our affiliation with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, we are able to buy food for pennies on the pound. For the Armstrong County Food Bank, $10 in donations can purchase nearly eight times the amount $10 can buy at local    grocery stores.

Food Donations

Food donations must be dry or canned goods only.  We request that donated goods are within the expiration date.  Opened, or damaged products will not be accepted.

Where Does My Contribution Go?

Your donations help to serve over 2,100 households in Armstrong County.  This means helping 4,685 of your neighbors, family, friends, and acquaintances.

We also offer the Turkey Distribution Program.
